How does my giving to Beyond affect other types of giving, like general funds or missions?

During this two-year initiative, most financial gifts (including weekly recurring gifts and special one-time gifts) to Mission Hills will contribute to our Beyond Fund. This includes funding for all our ministries, campuses, missions, and community outreach. Every dollar given will fuel our ongoing ministry and the vision God has for our church to go Beyond.

The three exceptions are that you can designate your giving for the Life Center, for Care (our benevolence fund), and to support someone going on a Short-Term Trip.

Can I give non-cash gifts, like stock or property?
Yes! We encourage creativity in giving. Non-cash gifts such as stock or property can make a significant impact. If you’d like help facilitating this kind of gift, please reach out to our team for assistance:

What if I’m not in a position to give right now?
We believe everyone can participate in Beyond, regardless of financial circumstances. Generosity isn’t about the amount—it’s about the heart behind the gift. If you’re facing financial challenges, we encourage you to ask God how he might lead you to trust him in new ways. This could mean you participate by praying or serving with your time and talents.
What if I’ve never given before?

Beyond is designed with you in mind. This is an opportunity to take your first step into generosity and discover the joy that comes with living on mission with Jesus. It’s not about a specific amount; it’s about taking that first step of faith.

What if I’m paying off debt?
If you’re focused on paying off debt, that’s great progress, and you should continue to work toward financial freedom. However, giving is about what God wants for you, not from you. Generosity, even in small amounts, can be a step of trust and worship as you follow him.
Why is this initiative called Beyond?
“Beyond” reflects our vision to go further than ever before—to reach beyond ourselves, beyond our buildings, and beyond our church. It’s about creating a legacy of faith, generosity, and Gospel impact for generations to come.
Who is The Timothy Initiative?
The Timothy Initiative (TTI) is a global movement dedicated to advancing Christ’s Kingdom by multiplying disciples and establishing disciple-making churches worldwide. Rooted in the principles of 2 Timothy 2:2, TTI trains and equips local leaders to plant churches, particularly focusing on areas and people groups without a Gospel presence. Their mission is to see a church in every village, everywhere, ensuring that every person has access to a community of believers.

How can I grow spiritually during this Beyond initiative?

Engaging in prayer is a powerful way to deepen your spiritual journey and foster personal growth. To assist you in this process, we’ve created bi-weekly prayer prompts. You can receive these prompts by texting “BEYOND” to 80875.

Why now?
Mission Hills is approaching our 100-year anniversary, a milestone that invites us to reflect on God’s faithfulness and dream about the future. This is a pivotal moment to honor our legacy by stepping boldly into the next chapter of impact. The time to act is now, so that by the time we celebrate 100 years, we will have laid the groundwork for reaching everyone on the Front Range with the Gospel and leaving a lasting legacy of faith for generations to come.
What Are You Asking Me To Do?
First and foremost, pray. Ask God to lead you in how you can be part of this initiative. Consider what sacrificial generosity might look like for you and your family during this season. Engage with others in small groups and discussions to explore this together. Finally, prepare your heart to see God work in incredible ways as we step out in faith.
Can I designate my gift to a specific ministry?
All gifts (including general fund giving) will count toward the overall Beyond initiative, which includes support for specific ministries. By giving to Beyond, you are contributing to the full vision God has placed before us as a church.

I’m new to Mission Hills. Should I participate in Beyond?
Absolutely! Beyond is a perfect opportunity to learn about the mission and vision of Mission Hills Church and to be part of something bigger than yourself. This initiative is for everyone, whether you’ve been here for years or just started attending. That said, there’s no pressure to commit right away—take time to pray, ask questions, and learn more about what this could mean for you.
How long is my commitment?

We’re asking for a two-year commitment from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2027. This allows us to dream big, plan strategically, and see the Gospel advance both here on the Front Range and around the world.

Can I adjust my commitment later?
Yes. Life circumstances change, and we understand that. You can update your commitment at any time online at missonhills.org/give or by reaching out to our team for assistance:

What if the Castle Rock campus doesn’t work out?
We are pursuing a permanent home for our Castle Rock campus, including exploring a specific piece of land. However, we remain flexible and open to other options that align with God’s plan. Our commitment is to continue growing and reaching people in the Castle Rock community, whether through this location or another that God provides.
